As a way to break from the constant need to compete with a machine and the instant need of results, which is a consequence of this new era, I decided to create my own platform where I would only have to meet my expectations. This website was made to allow me to express myself and my work without being subjected to others’ prejudices and bias. 

         I promise to be honest, respectful and empathic. I accept that change is constant and necessary, I embrace it on my path to grow and improve myself as being.

       My history and culture are important and a massive influence on my work, so I feel the need to explain it a little further

         My name is Margarida Conceição and I am known by Creating Daisy, my username. I'm a Neurodivergent (dyslexic, autistic with ADHD), POC woman. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, but I am mixed race, I am Chinese, Portuguese, South Asian (uncertain of where exactly) and Irish. I was raised more in touch with my Portuguese and Chinese ancestry, and later studied my other ancestries to get in touch with them. I wasn’t raised only in these cultures but also Brazilian, my sisters from my dad's side are Brazilian/Chinese/Portuguese and my sister from my mother's side is Mozambican/Portuguese. While growing up my parents felt that it was important to stay in touch and try to learn a bit from each other's cultures, which I am thankful for.
