a small different project I decided to do with a vent I found in one of my notebooks, another try to understand this reality and the acceptance of not being able to, if it's adhd, burn out or whatever it is, at least it turned into a cute animated booklet and a step out of my comfort zone, which is a win! I hope you like it and who knows, maybe you can identify with it

Food in Blue

Food is more than body nourishment.

IIt’s soul comforting, it’s mental heath, it’s identity, it’s culture…

For a second generation immigrant, it’s the link with the never visited homeland.

A connection with my ancestors.

It’s, sometimes, the acknowledgment of my own worth and roots, and, many times, was the invitation for xenophobic/racist remarks and situations. A reason for my exclusion yet adoration and appreciation when convenient.

This is a compilation of stories about food and my struggle with my identity.

amirA-sade moodie collab

I discovered Amira-Sade Moodie’s work in 2020, and fell in love with it instantly, little did I know it was reciprocous. After a long distance fan/friend IG relationship, a small collab was proposed and this is the result. Done with their painting, writing skills and my flashes as stickers, They created these beautiful dreamlike compositions that turned into postcards. You can get this set in my store, and expect more collabs between us!

The Inbetween

This series is a commentary on some of my daily situations on being a mixed person. I am not known for staying quiet, which sometimes brings a lot of problems my way, but it also brings a learning opportunity, for me and whoever is present. This was my way of bringing to life some unjust situations that I found myself in, mostly from ignorance, not malice, but still it harms us, leaves a wound, and most of the time, trauma.

This serie has some text that goes with each illustration, I’m planning to do a zine where I will include everything, I will let you know!

Thank you for listenning, and allowing this conversation to take space.

scotland’s landscapes

In my attempt to take a break and rest, I decided to go back to traditional painting and drawing, no more than 4 days in Scotland countryside, just with books, a sketchbook, some painting/drawing materials and D&D was more than enough to make me forget about my ipad, tattoos and any service or wifi. So I decided to register some of the sights we got to see. Needless to say it was refreshing and therapeutic and I recommend it to everyone, both doing some sketches and going to Scotland!

Body Placements

I find it very difficult to find good pictures to show tattoo placements, and I feel weird using others’ pictures on my platform, so I made my own, these are just a few, my goal is to be able to represent as many different bodies as I can, I wont be able to do them all sadly, but I hope it helps everyone see themselves in some of the drawings and be able to imagine how the tattoo would look on you.
