On Education
Knowledge and information should be available to everyone who searches it, if somebody is interested in something, they should be able to have access to information about it.
I’ve always had interest in being part of Accademia, until I tried it out and opened my eyes to what it really stood up for, gatekeeping knowledge, a way to capitalize information and teach propaganda with the objective to control society and impose the eurocentic, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, ableist, queerphobic mentality/ideologies on peoples’ minds. There are others that found their way into that world and are doing what they can to change this situation from the inside, I found out that for me to do it, it would require to lose a part of me that I wasn’t and am not willing to lose, so I decided to leave and find other ways to learn and teach.
Knowledge should be managed carefully, for with knowledge comes responsability, yet denying knowledge to others, and imposing ignorance is even more dangerous to our community. Critical thinking and curiosity should be the norm, and not the indiference we mostly see in the world. We shouldn’t fear the unknown, strange or different, but embrace that it’s an opportunity to learn and expose ourselves to something new, to see a different prespective, be willing to deconstruct what isn’t working and learning new ways of thinking and living, adapting to the needs of our community, ourselves and the world, and trust that other will be able to do the same if given a fair chance.
My goal with this page is to give you access and the option to grow and learn, the decision is yours.
In this link you will find a series of books and papers that I used for my college work as well as special interests, feel free to read them and share the knowledge you get from it.
